Self-important professional athletes walking off. Holier-than-thou. Walking off in solidarity. Do they think the little, unimportant people should walk off in solidarity? What do they say to nurses, truck drivers, cooks, waitresses, stock clerks, welders, cashiers, electricians, secretaries, mechanics, bookkeepers, carpenters, heavy equipment operators, physical therapists, piano teachers, housekeeping workers, dishwashers, and farmers walking off, not working, and wanting to still be paid and be glorified for the solidarity virtue? If it is good and right that professional athletes walk off, then who should not walk off? Who should stay and work? Who should serve their neighbors through their vocations? Why shouldn't we all just walk off? Why should anyone work? What compels anyone to work?
